Contact usWhat Data We Collect
When you launch Blinkfire and start navigating its fast-paced arcade levels, we collect basic technical information: your device type, browser version, screen resolution, and IP address. We also record gameplay events such as levels reached, scores logged, and session durations — data that helps us understand how players move through the game's challenge curve. If you choose to create an account or submit a leaderboard entry, we store the username and any contact details you voluntarily provide.
How We Use Your Data
Gameplay telemetry — the moment-to-moment record of how players interact with Blinkfire's mechanics — feeds directly into balancing decisions, ensuring that each level feels rewarding rather than arbitrary. Technical data helps us identify performance bottlenecks so the game runs smoothly across a wide range of browsers and devices. Contact details, where provided, are used solely for account management and to respond to support requests.
Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers. We may share anonymised, aggregated gameplay statistics with analytics partners who help us measure overall player engagement — these partners receive no information that could identify you individually. Where third-party services are embedded (for example, social sharing features), their own privacy policies govern the data they independently collect.
Data Storage and Retention
All data we collect is stored on secured servers with access restricted to authorised personnel. Gameplay statistics are retained for as long as your account remains active or for a maximum of three years following your last session, whichever comes first. After this period, data is permanently deleted in a way that prevents recovery.
Your Rights Over Your Data
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccuracies, and to ask for permanent deletion of your account and all associated records. Requests are processed within 30 days and result in irreversible removal from our systems. You may also object to certain processing activities or request that we restrict how we use your data while a dispute is being resolved.
Children and Age Considerations
Blinkfire is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from players under this age threshold. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has submitted personal information, they should contact us and we will delete that data promptly.
